Management Team

Before joining I&P Management, Poonam was in charge of the administration, financial matters and the smooth functioning of various organizations where she had worked, mainly in textile agency, real estate, hotel industry and accountancy firm. She had set up the office structure of two international companies in Mauritius.

Poonam is a holder of a Diploma in Public Administration and Management. from the University of Mauritius, and is currently studying for her Degree in Business Studies.

Antoine was the founder of I&P Management in 2002 and is currently its Managing Director.

From 1988 to 1994, Antoine was a Manager at Bain & Co., one of the world’s leading Strategic Consulting Firms. Antoine worked on projects based in Paris, Boston and London and specialized in Hi-Tech and Consumer Goods. Previously from 1984 to 1987, he was the Deputy Financial Director of the French sugar group Saint Louis.

Then in 1995, Antoine created AZUR/ZADIG, a garment making company, in Madagascar. He developed the business up to 700 employees before selling it to a large Chinese textile group in 2000. In parallel, he has taken over through a leveraged buy-out OTM, another garment making company initially with 250 employees in 1995, and developed it up to 1,100 employees before selling it to a Dubai-based garment group in 2001.

Antoine has successfully completed his higher business studies at ESCP-Europe in France and earned an M.B.A. from INSEAD.

Firdosh worked in the Audit and Advisory Services of Ernst & Young from 2003 to 2006. She has been involved in the audits of major quoted companies in hospitality and leisure, aviation and construction in Mauritius and was in charge of statutory audits and operating reviews of SMEs.

Firdosh is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Until 2006, Jérôme has been working as a consultant at Accenture Paris for five years where he has been highly involved in designing group management rules and Information Systems, and of their implementation in the local subsidiaries of several major worldwide companies. Among other international clients, he has served at Renault, Caterpillar, Aventis and Schneider Electric.

Jérôme is a post-graduate in Management, specializing in Finance from E.M. Lyon, France in 2001. He is also a holder of a degree in law, specializing in business law in 1998 from the Université de Paris II (Panthéon-Assas), France.

Renaud is the founder and director of Confident Asset Management Ltd, Mauritius, a portfolio management company managing 75 million €uros in assets. In 1997 he took over the management of international portfolios invested with Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild (Indian Ocean) Ltd where he was the assistant Vice-President and the head of Private Banking (1996-1997). From 1989 to 1994, Renaud joined the Royal Dutch/Shell Group, Mauritius as Agri-business Manager.

Renaud obtained his MBA from INSEAD in France, specializing in Finance, Investments and Entrepreneurship in 1994. He also holds a B.Sc. Agriculture from the University of Natal, South Africa.

Feizal reckons 15 years of practical experience in the Audit, Tax and Business Advisory services with Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche. He has been engaged in accounts preparation under the International Accounting Standard, performs audit for major hotels, insurance, textile and retail enterprises in Mauritius and in other Indian Ocean countries. He has also performed share valuation exercises, was engaged in the preparation of prospectus for companies seeking listing on the local stock exchange, and has been involved in receivership, operating and strategic reviews. He enjoys practical experience at both SME and subsidiaries of Multinationals.

Feizal is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.

Before joining I&P Management Madagascar, Tojo did an internship in a Malagasy venture capital company where he learnt private equity fundamentals and has been dealing with financial modeling in the tourism industry. He has also had work experiences in Europe and the US.

Tojo has studied at ESC Rouen where he obtained a degree at IFI (Institut de Formation Internationale) and a master degree of International Business Development.

Before joining I&P Management in 2004, Sambatra was sales assistant for Vitogaz, the national gas producer. In 1999, she worked as financial assistant for Sopromer, a fishing company.

Sambatra followed an undergraduate programme at IMGAM (Institut Malgache de Gestion des Arts et Métiers), where she obtained a degree in Accountancy and Business Administration.
