Additionally to long-term capital appreciation for the Investors, the objective of I&P is to contribute to accelerating sustainable economic growth and reducing poverty in Africa. Our goals are:

• To accompany entrepreneurs and small and medium size businesses by providing equity financing as well as guidance in business management;
• To aim to maximize value creation for Investors while generating significant environmental, social and governance benefits.

Through the funds under management, I&P shall contribute:

• To strengthen the African and Indian Ocean economies and social fabric, by the multiplication of competitive and sustainable SME's;
• To foster entrepreneurship spirit and to develop entrepreneurs;
• To improve environmental, social and governance performance of African companies and to implement good practices, beyond legal compliance.

Integrity: the Manager is committed to serve the interests of Investors in a transparent and diligent way. Beyond the minimum anti-money laundering and anti-bribery practices that are strictly implemented, the Manager intends to develop partnerships with high ethical-standard people and is not ready to any compromise as far as reputation risk is concerned.

Trust: any contract or shareholder agreement cannot be sufficient to ensure a fruitful partnership and to set up the right environment for business development. Trust between partners is required to foster entrepreneurship spirit and to build the foundations of a solid and sustainable business culture. I&P private equity funds shall provide the basis for entrepreneurs to emerge and for corporate managers to turn out to be successful business leaders.
